Giving
your life to God isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of a wonderful
new life!
But
many Christians remain “new” for years because they are never
discipled, and as a result they have great difficulty reaching
out and helping someone else grow.
The
New You covers a lot of basic information in a revolutionary
way—not only teaching knowledge, but also providing a forum
for one Christian—either an adult or a teen—to disciple another
with genuine caring and accountability.

“The
New You would be helpful to anyone who has recently given their
life to God. It is written for teens, but it covers basic topics for
new believers so well that it transcends age.
I
really liked the logical progression from explaining what a faith
decision means to making a plan for real change in the reader's life.
This
book covers an amazing range of potential questions and issues in
just six weeks of daily lessons. Upon completion, a new believer will
have a good foundation in the basics of Christian living, as well
as many resources for future growth.
I
also liked the progression from feelings-based topics in the first
weeks to deeper discipleship topics like the Bible and prayer in the
last weeks.
Another
great feature of the book is the explicit instructions given to the
discipler, with whom the reader will discuss the lessons on a weekly
basis. That, coupled with the help pages, gives even more resources
to help a new believer gain understanding of the Christian beliefs
and lifestyle.
This
is a wonderful and unique discipleship resource.”

"I
wanted you and your son to know that your student-led cell material
has been a tremendous blessing to me...I believe your material is
trailblazing, innovative, and inspired by God. The Lord is using you
mightily to bless the ENTIRE body of Christ and its concept of ministry.
You're on the cutting edge of what I believe the next move of God
is in the earth. I thank God for you and your material. Thank you
so much!!!"

Weekly Goals
That
the new disciple will:
Week
1
Realize he or she is a brand new person who has God the Holy Spirit
actually living inside—and begin acting like a new person by talking
and listening to God, reading the Bible daily, writing down ideas,
etc.
Week
2
Realize that he or she is not alone, but is a vital part of the body
of Christ—and participate fully in both the one-to-one times and cell
life.
Week
3
Understand that although there will be a battle to keep the new disciple
from having peace in the new relationship with God, it's a struggle
he or she will win—and begin the process of getting rid of anything
from the past that will stunt his or her growth in Christ.
Week
4
Realize that the Bible is not just another book, but also God's primary
method of speaking to us—and establish a time to read each day.
Week
5
Understand that prayer is simply talking to God, and that this should
be a two-way conversation—and spend a minimum of 10 minutes each day
praying (half talking/half listening).
Week
6
Understand the importance of being a part of a group of Christians—and
continue to grow through participating in a cell and a local church,
baptism, the Lord’s Supper, etc.
