In 1989 God used a television documentary teach N. J. Lindquist a powerful lesson about the church and how the members need each other. She related it to Ephesians 4:16. This lesson stayed with her and drastically changed the way she thought of “church.” It is a group of people working together; not a building or a service. And every person is necessary if Christ’s mandate is to be carried out.
