Speaking

Yes, I do speak. In public. Often. My current schedule is here. I am now booking for next spring.

It actually amazes me when I read the statistics on how many people fear speaking in public more than they fear dying. I've been eager to speak in public since I was about three.

I can talk for as long as you'd like – from 20 minutes to all day.

My most popular topic is "What Could be better than a Diamond Ring?" a 30-60 minute talk based on the award-winning true story I  wrote for Hot Apple Cider.

For some of my personal story, you can read two autobiographical articles in the book, Hot Apple Cider: Words to Stir the Heart and Warm the Soul. One is the story of the 80-year-old man God used to let eight-year-old me know she wasn’t alone. The other is the story of my first published work – a letter I wrote to the editor of our local paper when I was twelve.

I’ve spent the majority of my life trying to find a way to reconcile being a highly creative person with living in a world where creativity isn’t often understood or encouraged.

"The Theology of Creativity" is a 60-90 minute workshop suitable for churches or ministries.

The "Release the Creative You Workshop" can be done in 90 minutes or all day (6 hours plus breaks.)

“I had the opportunity to hear N. J. speak at Write! Canada and truly appreciated the gifts with which God has blessed her. She is a humorous and vibrant speaker with much to offer. Her energy keeps the listener fully attentive and I found myself walking away from her session with valuable information. Her love of Christ comes through loud and clear in her speaking and her writing and I look forward to many more sessions with N. J. at the helm.”

Donna Dawson/Donna Fawcett, author of Vengeance
